- Roughneck/Driller/Toolpusher - Penrod Drilling Company:
Louisiana Gulf Coast (1953-1970)
Drilling Superintendent -Western Oceanic: Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Coast (1970-1979): Helped in construction, outfitting, and crew up of several Western Oceanic jackups and semisubmersibles. Supervised day to day drilling activities in Gulf of Mexico. Helped set up operations on the U.S. East Coast for operating the semisubmersible "Pacesetter II" for Shell Oil Company.
- Drilling Superintendent - Broughton Offshore Limited: Offshore Louisiana and Texas (1979 -1983): Responsible for hiring and training personnel, rigging up, and outfitting two mat-supported jackup rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Supervised day to day drilling activities in cooperation with various oil companies.
- Drilling Consultant - Independent: South Texas, North Louisiana, Gulf Coast (1983 -1993): Providing wellsite supervision in drilling, completion, recompletion, and plug and abandonment for various oil companies in Louisiana and Texas. Worked for Total Minatome in North Louisiana (Caddo and Bienville Parishes) and Energy Development Corporation in South Texas (Zapata, Hidalgo, and Duval Counties). Offshore and inland water clients included Maxus Energy, Plumb Operating, Hunt Oil Company, and Cockrell Oil Corporation.
- Drilling Consultant - HTK Consultants. Inc.: Louisiana and Texas Gulf Coast (1993 - present): Providing wellsite supervision in drilling, completion, and workover for land, inland waters, and offshore Texas and Louisiana. Clients worked for include General Atlantic Resources, Inc., Wainoco Oil and Gas Company, and Samedan Oil
