    Providing petroleum engineering services in drilling, completion and workover well operations for both onshore and offshore Louisiana and Texas.  Clients include Cobra Oil & Gas, Arena/Triumph Energy, Energy Partners Limited, Wapiti Energy and Transworld E & P/New Zealand Overseas Petroleum.
      
  • Senior Project Manager - Halliburton Energy Services  
    Houston, TX  (2000 - 2002)

    Provided project management services to Halliburton for their composite coiled tubing drilling system – ‘Anaconda’.

    Houston, TX  (2000)

    Provided international business advice concerning directional drilling, MWD and LWD to the buyers of PathFinder Energy Services.

    Houston, TX  (1999)

    Responsible for all day-to-day business and the profit and loss of $30MM LWD business with 225 employees with operations in Houston, Lafayette and Aberdeen.

  • Principal Operating Executive - PathFinder LWD Services
    Houston, TX  (1998 - 1999)

    Responsible for the divesture of Halliburton’s LWD business as a result of their merger with Dresser in 1998.  Pooled all assets from Halliburton worldwide and created PathFinder LWD Services as a stand-alone LWD business within Halliburton.  Assisted Halliburton management in positioning and marketing of PathFinder LWD for eventual successful sale in March of 1999.

  • Vice President - Halliburton Energy Services
    Houston, TX  (1997 - 1998)

    Responsible for HES’s Directional Drilling, MWD, LWD and mud logging business unit employing 1500 in 20 countries generating $350MM of revenue.  Successfully deployed LWD Quad Combo (GR, RES, DNSC, SONIC) capabilities into Nigeria, Brazil and Indonesia.  Managed technology budget of $30MM and averaged three new products/year.

  • Business Development/Integrated Solutions/Drilling Engineer Manager - Halliburton Energy Services
    Texas, UK, Europe and Africa  (1994 - 1996)

    Responsible for generating all HES business in Algeria – both discrete and integrated packages generating over $100MM in revenue per year.  Set up Halliburton’s Integrated Solutions group in the Europe/Africa region.  Developed integrated projects in Europe, UK, Algeria, Nigeria and Gabon that involved supplying traditional HES products along with providing over 50 drilling, production, reservoir engineers and operations managers.  Created a Drilling Engineering and Operations organization for Halliburton’s Integrated Solutions Group.  Group grew to over 100+ professionals working in 15 countries and became the cornerstone of HES’s success in providing Integrated Solutions to clients worldwide.

  • Vice President & Manager Intl. Operations - Triton International.
    Houston, TX  (1990 - 1994)

    Managed Triton’s operations in Venezuela, Korea, China, North Sea and the CIS.  During this period had over 50 consultants working for three PDVSA owned oil companies in Venezuela.  Responsible for all aspects of the consulting business of Triton.  Improved drilling efficiency by over 50% and developed a complete Drilling Operations Manual for Lagoven in Venezuela.  Project Manager for the first turnkey well drilled in the Bay of Campeche for Pemex.  Worked on consulting assignments in CIS, Venezuela, Argentina and the USA for various clients.

  • Manager of Drilling Operations/Assistant Drilling Engineer/ Drilling Engineer - Placid Oil Company
    Texas, Louisiana, UK, Europe, Africa Middle East  (1977 - 1990)

    Responsible for all drilling operations in the USA, GOM, North Sea, Zambia, Oman, Turkey, Thailand and the Netherlands.  Drilled record setting wells in deep water GOM in 1986.  Project Manager on Placid’s Green Canyon 29 Field development – subsea well construction and subsea tree development (2250’) in 1986.  Gained additional domestic and worldwide drilling experience as Assistant Drilling Manager from 1982 to 1986 and as District Drilling Engineer in the Gulf Coast area and Belize, Central America from 1979 to 1982.  Broke in with Placid as a Drilling and Production Engineer from 1977 to 1979.
